This has lived in my head rent free for nearly 20 years.
When you make a complaint to amazon HR.....
0:58 why does it sound so weird
Steve Buscemi did it better
Fun thing is that Germans were actually afraid of the Russians, they used to call them "crazy fanatics, barbarians, without fear or common sense". There's a book i read with real interviews to real german soldiers and war prisoners interviewed during the war. The book is called : Soldaten: On Fighting, Killing, and Dying By Harald Welzer and Sönke Neitzel It also contains opinions on British, American, and Italian soldiers. Is funny how much they respected the british soldiers even calling them equals. "Put a nazi uniform on any british soldiers and you won't notice any difference, they are lions guided by donkeys" says one quote of the book. I really recommend anyone to read it
I finally found the source of that prairie dog/chipmunk/squirrel meme. I can die peacefully knowing this.
Sir John should have listened to the Blackfish on this one.
If you gonna ignite your lightsaber… better be prepared to use it.
Notice Jabba said, "Why did you grease my poor Greedo?"
As horrible in term of historical accuracy of this movie, it portrayed Khrushchev pretty well.
As it turned out, Skywalker did indeed get away with it
Fan boys really tried to push the narrative that the 2004 one “fixed” the 1997 version. Both are terrible 😂
😂😂
0:01 When You Get Caught By A Slow Train While The Railroad Crossing Goes Down
75 years later and this still makes me lol
Sir John was an idiot
This scene really demonstrates how naive Franklin was. He brushes Ross off thinking he's playing politics but he doesn't realise that he's actually trying to give him sound advice from personal experience.
1997 jabba did not age well at all
YOU TOLD HARPO TO BEAT ME 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'M GONNA DIE
In a parallel universe human Jabba is the official character
Heroes..individual initiative. Such bourgeois concepts! That man was lucky not be shot for expressing counter-revolutionary ideas.
Read the book by Alexander Solzhenitsyn The Gulag Archipelago. Then you'll truely under stand the disease of Marxism.
And yet, he was risking everything to try to bring his dead wife back. Maybe he's like Abridged Zarbon, where people assume but "or maybe stereotypes are bullshit". XD
No launch code no sleep for you Victor. Where did you tattoo it? Would you like a free dental checkup by a Vulcan dentist?
love RotJ, but this scene I found better than the CGI reworked edition.
This cut scene directly to Shames made me laugh really hard the first time watching this show.
Mouse trouble is better.
Henry the 8th
People who complain that the cgi Jabba looks fake are being silly. Whether it's with puppetry or computers, it will always be fake, since the character is ultimately not real. I personally don't see any difference between a puppet creature or a cgi creature. Plus, the puppet from Episode VI took a lot of effort to build and operate and would've been immobile for this scene. People will argue that puppets look physical, which they are, but when I see what are supposed to be aliens being portrayed with puppetry in newer star wars stuff, I cannot help but be reminded that I am seeing a puppet. It might've worked in the original trilogy at the time, but just because it did then, doesn't mean it will again. Star Wars is a Space Fantasy. It's not supposed to be realistic. It's an example of a Modern Myth.
Great movie with great actors. The scene where Danilov sacrifices his life for his friend to expose Konig always brings tears to my eyes.
Calling Stalin the Boss emphasises the fact he was a sub human murderer rather thsn a legitimate political leader who cared for his country.
Tyranny
I could’ve watched a thousand episodes of just Winston and Schmidttbh
We do not kneel
Damian Lewis's American accent is STRUGGLING in this scene 😂
The Grand Inquisitior, pouting in the corner: I wanted to do that! Oh wait... she can't stop me from the knowledge I seek now!! Thanks Skywalker.
I love Winters laugh at Nix's response over the "rich, arrogant jerk from Yale" as Nix himself was a Yale man.
That period from the late 90's to early 2000's put out the best WWII movies!
Dike was a great character and how the story played out was great. Sadly, it was horribly exaggerated and inaccurate to the real man. Why they did this, I will never know. Just like how they lied about Blythe. Every word of the text saying "he died" was BS. Makes you question what other things they might have gotten wrong AND ON PURPOSE.
You can find a great interview on UA-cam with Ed Shames. He dispels a lot of legends. Of course, his viewpoint. But a good interview nonetheless.
nakita had a pretty tough war
The sound of Tom’s voice sounded loud enough for an entire audience watching this in a movie theater!
The show more or less lost it by the end, but man, when it was good it was great.
Abridged Pegasus and Zarbon send out VERY confusing signals.
if you look at the girl on the left at 0:44 - 0:45 , she starts to laugh before the cutaway
Nobody gonna talk about how Boba just breaks the 4th wall at the end?
I wonder if his statement of the Hudson Bay Company Outpost being 800 miles away was historically accurate or if they would’ve referred to it in kilometers as I understand is custom everywhere outside the Americas.
Peacock is the nicer version of Sobel. Lol
How do you expect the Soviets to win? Their officers are old, drunkards, and are fat. Just look at all that belly fat lmao
0:45 she breaks in laughter
